(Note, to experience this case study there is no way I can avoid revealing who my customer is. He has agreed to act as a case study in return for free consulting services, ie I am not getting paid until the case study is complete. So please do me the courtesy of not contacting this customer or even trying to duplicate this case with his competitors or even others in the same industry. I think we can agree that this is a pretty small niche and there are plenty of other markets to pursue. I trust that you will abide by this simple request)
In April of this year I was attending a local chamber of commerce business after hours meeting. Here in Johns Creek, GA it costs $40 for a table at this event. It happens each month, and it is a great way to contact business owners. And you get 2 drinks and hors d'oeuvres as well, sweet.
Anyway, as we were closing down I met the owner of Jumptastic. He had a table at the same event. Their business involves renting out the inflatable jumpers known by various names such as Moonwalks, Bouncy Castles, Inflatable Jumpers, etc.
In our short conversation I was able to learn that his Internet marketing efforts included an Adwords campaign that he had created on his own.
A light bulb went off and I got the idea to approach him as a client to improve the efforts he had made in creating his own Adwords campaign.
Little did I know at the time how much potential there would be to apply what I have learned by using Keyword Rockstar and what I have learned from other Keyword Rockstar owners here in KeywordRockstarFamily.com.
Mike
More tomorrow as I meet with the owner to explore the concept with him.
