New Recorded Webinar on Initial Analysis of Local Business Owners Adwords Campaigns

Saturday, August 21st 2010 @ 5:06 PM (2 ratings)    post viewed 2595 times

Finishing up the rapport building process and analyzing a customer created adwords campaign, recorded webinar with Tommie Powers and Mike Remer

After a few days of getting no response from the client I uncovered what was holding him up.   He was simply worried that if I made changes to his Adwords campaign, he could possibly see negative results in the form of fewer sales.

His doubts stemmed from the fact that I did not do a good job securing an agreement of exactly the process I would use to optimize his campaign in a way that would not affect his existing campaign.  I decided to schedule another meeting to rekindle the rapport building part of the process and then give him more details on exactly what was going to happen once I had access to his adwords campaign.

We had a chance to meet the next week. This time we met at his warehouse for Jumptastic and I was able to get a tour, and see more about the workings of his business.  We sat down and went over more details of my plan for him and what it would entail.  I also assured him that any campaigns that I would build for him would stay on pause until he had a chance to review them. He would have the power to set the budget and unpause the campaigns.

So the next thing to do was to look at his adwords account and see what possibilities were there to optimize the campaign as well as what organic SEO opportunities existed.

He agreed to confirm my request to add his adwords account to My Client Center to take a peak at his campaign.

As Tommie Powers is one of my key resources when it comes to campaign resources I asked him as a favor to record a webinar where we both took a look at this customer's existing adwords campaign to better formulate a game plan of where to start the optimization process.

Here is the link for the recording.

Next time challenges of working with third party webmasters.

Mike,

Thanks SO much for these posts and the "play by play" of your "client acquisition" processes!!!!

....AND the video!!!

This is great stuff and very educational....at least for me :)  I'm LOVING it!

I find out today if my first "potential client"  accepts an introductory "first steps" proposal I presented to them this past Thrs. It includes optimized website and blog design and setups with some social media setup and integration etc.   They seemed at first glance, VERY pleased and positive!

They initially approached me about helping them, which of course make things a bit easier. I won't be shooting shooting for "big bucks" on this one NEAR as much as I'm looking for a raving testimony or two.

I guess if  "the ball starts rolling" I'll need to start using my own blog here instead of yours, for sharing my experiences huh...LOL! Wink

Thanks again for all you do Mike!!!
